Data Deletion

You can ask RealPortal LTD to delete your personal data at any time. This page explains how, who can ask, what we delete, what we keep and how long it takes.

How to request deletion

  • Email admin@realportal.ae from the email address linked to the account. Use the subject "Data deletion request". Include the name on the account and, for buyers, the phone number you used.
  • Or phone us on +971 52 416 4089.

We verify your identity before anything is deleted. Deletion cannot be undone.

Who can ask

  • Account holders (for example agency administrators and agents).
  • Buyers who used a RealPortal buyer page.
  • People whose data a real estate agency holds as a lead or a tenant should contact that agency first. RealPortal acts on the agency's instruction as its service provider and will help.

What we delete

  • Account and profile details.
  • CRM records: leads, conversations, properties, tenancies and payments.
  • Uploaded documents, including their stored copies.
  • Saved text and details extracted from those documents.
  • WhatsApp conversation records tied to the person.
  • Connected Facebook Page, Instagram and Meta ad account connections, the stored access tokens, and the campaigns and performance figures we hold for them.

What we keep, and why

  • Invoices and payment records, for the period required by UAE law.
  • Minimal records needed to prove that the deletion was carried out or to defend a legal claim. This includes an internal activity log that records what was done and when, and which can contain a name or an email address.
  • WhatsApp media files (such as photos and voice notes) are also removed automatically 180 days after they were received.
  • Copies held by services outside RealPortal, such as WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, are governed by those services' own policies.

Timing

  • We acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
  • We complete it within 30 days.
  • Our database backups are kept for 7 days and then roll off automatically, so deleted data disappears from backups within 7 days after deletion. Uploaded document files are not part of those backups.

Instagram and Facebook connections

If an agency connected a Facebook or Instagram account to RealPortal, you can disconnect it and revoke RealPortal's access yourself in your own Facebook or Instagram settings (under Apps and websites, or Business integrations). Disconnecting stops RealPortal from using the connection, but it does not delete the data we already hold. To delete that data, request deletion using this page.
